Boogs kindly reminded me that I hadn't updated this site in ages. I even missed at least one gig announcement. Bad webmaster! Bad! Our next show will be tonight, Thursday June 12th at the Great Britain Hotel on Church St in Richmond. We'll be supported the Red Sparrow and the Grey Dog at 9PM, the LSS will be lighting it up at 10:30PM. Awesome.
Other news of note, well Dan's planning on taking some time off in the coming months to work hard on another recording, exciting stuff!
Old news:The Stork on NYE was great! Our first show for 2008 will be an afternoon extravaganza starting at 3PM on January 20th at the Empress. Support provided by Kristy Lewis and Owls of the Swamp. Copies of our EP will be available on the day!
Updated flyers (see this one and the other one) for the NYE gig have been provided if you need more inspiration. I like the big bold red one! O the promotional happiness.
Details of a New Year's Eve spectacular at the Stork have been announced, the evening will kick off at 7:30PM with a BBQ and continue late into the next morning with live musical acts going head-to-head on multiple stages. Light Says Solo will be on at 9:00PM, other highlight acts include Ryan Sterling, Clinkerfield and SubAudible Hum. See our "detailed" press-release for more details.
Our EP will be available from sometime next week at Missing Link in Melbourne's CBD. You can get a copy from them for $10 either by visiting the store or completing an on-line or mail order. We hope to have the EP in other indepedent stores soon.
Thanks to all those who came down to the Tote to support us at our EP launch. We had a really great turn out and sold many copies of our EP! We're currently investigating our options to make the EP available for purchase on-line, for the time being, the only place to get one will be at one of our shows. Which there aren't any booked. So bad luck.
In other news, in the lead up to our EP launch we had air-play on 3RRR, PBS, Joy (thanks Mark) and even Triple J!
EP launch date has been confirmed, it will be Friday the 19th of October at the Tote in Collingwood. Our supports on the night will be Pitching Woo and Little Star.

From bio
Guided by the oblique strategies of Brian Eno, Light Says Solo construct a “space like”atmosphere which builds and builds towards a glorious emotional release similar to that felt in the works of Bjork and Cat Power...
